Cassandra Prepetit, Ed.S, BCBA

Cassandra has worked with individuals with special needs for 20 years. She has worked in public education as a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Lead Teacher and Behavior Specialist/Behavior Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  Cassandra has worked with students who range in ages from 3 to 21 years old with varying functioning levels and diagnoses. She has also worked with adults with special needs providing Community Living Support services.  

Julie Long Shirley, Ed.S, BCBA

 

Julie Shirley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a certified teacher, Intensively trained in DBT Skills Groups, and an RYT 200.  She graduated from Clemson University with a Masters’ Degree In Special Education and shortly thereafter began her teaching career in Special Education.  In 2010, she moved from a teaching role into the role of Behavior Specialist/Analyst for Forsyth County Schools.  She currently holds this position.  She recently opened Peace Within. LLC Coaching, Consulting, and Training in Cumming, Ga.   She attended Penn State University to meet requirements to sit for certification with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. She also added a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018 from Piedmont College.  

Throughout her career, Julie has worked with various populations and all ages to provide learning and support.  She has worked within school systems as well as within the home setting.  

She opened Peacc Within, LLC in September of 2020 and serves various populations and ages either within a group, family, and/or one on one setting.  

In 2019 Julie became a registered yoga teacher 200 and will have completed certification for RYT 500 by March 2021.  Julie believes in holistic treatment.  She supports science.  Only evidence-based modalities are used within her practice.  

​Specialty Areas Include  Applied Behavior Analysis, DBT Skills Training, and DBT Skills Groups, Acceptance and Commitment Training, Trauma-Informed Behavior Analysis, Emotion Regulation, Executive Functioning, Support for Families with loved ones with extreme emotional dysregulation, Teaching Students with Autism, Mindfulness and Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Yoga, De-escalation techniques, Self-Care Coaching/Training, and Parent Education Groups.
